Jayhawk File Express was founded in 1996 as a document storage company with shredding services available. We’ve earned an excellent reputation in the Topeka and Lawrence, Kansas communities because we are dedicated to providing only the highest level of security, technology and customer service. Our business provides record management, storage, scanning, media storage and secure shredding services that lead the industry and provides a valuable service to the entire northeast Kansas region.

We regularly receive letters, e-mails and phone calls from clients complimenting our service team. Here are a few of the ways we focus on our customers every day:
- All calls are answered by associates 24/7. No voicemails, pagers or automated attendants.
- We provide 24-hour access to business records and back up tapes.
- Clients can have on-line access to their record inventory through our internal web link.
- Emergency service can deliver any file, box or tape to our clients’ doors within two hours.
- We can assist with record inventory, reporting, additional storage or other customized services as needed.

Maximizing industry-leading technology gives our clients a high level of security and service. We are committed to constantly investing in technology in all aspects of our business. Our systems will never become outdated as technology evolves.
Each service is impacted differently by our approach to technology, including:
Record Management & Storage– We provide 24/7 document access, audit trails, inventory access via the web and regular system upgrades as standard practices.
Secure Document Shredding– All containers correlate with a bar-code which provides an audit trail for precise management. Secure web cameras are also installed in our destruction facility.
Media Management & Storage– The media vault includes a CRAC unit, FM-200 system and Sensaphone IMS 4000 Infrastructure Monitoring System. Similar to record management, we provide 24/7 tape access, audit trails, inventory access via the web and regular system upgrades.
Document Imaging– All file conversions are enabled through our Bowe Bell & Howe 8090 Spectrum XF scanner. This scanner allows for color, duplex and OCR scanning witch the capability to scan more than 200 sheets per minute.
Through our partnership with PremierOne Computer Solutions, we operate with very strong IT support in a secure terminal server environment.
