Drop Off Shredding

Jayhawk File Express’s Drop Off Shredding Service meets the needs of the self-employed as well as serving the occasional shredding needs of any resident of northeast Kansas.

We recommend shredding your unnecessary bank statements, invoices, utility bills and miscellaneous private information. These sensitive documents are often thrown in the garbage or the recycle bin. This is risky, potentially dangerous behavior. Clients collect information in a container either provided by Jayhawk File Express or one of their own choosing.

Our customers may either drop off the collected material at Jayhawk File Express, or schedule pick up.

How much does it cost?

For drop-offs of large quantities, we charge $0.10 per pound with a minimum charge of $30.00.

If you would like us to come and pick up your material for shredding we can schedule that for you. The cost is $45.00 for the first fifteen minutes and $15.00 for each subsequent 15 minute segment. The vast majority of residential shredding can be picked up in 15 minutes.

Every quarter we schedule a Free Shred Day when you can drop of your confidential documents for destruction at no charge. The next Free Shred Day is scheduled for Friday, July 23, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please pull around to the west side of the building to 518 SE Adams for the drop-off location.
