The Jayhawk File Express Facility
The Jayhawk File Express facility is conveniently located in historic downtown Topeka. All services for Topeka and surrounding areas are provided out of this central location.
The facility is a combination of poured concrete and masonry construction with thousands of cubic feet of storage space. The series of warehouses and office buildings are monitored 24-hours-a-day and seven-days-a-week using infrared detectors and perimeter contact alarms.
All entrances are monitored by video surveillance and access to the facility is limited. All non-employees entering Jayhawk File Express must log in with time, date, and signature. No cameras or cell phones are permitted in the facility.
The media vault is below grade in a building constructed of one-to-two foot thick concrete walls and floors. Originally built as a bakery capable of holding several tons of equipment, the building is a hardened facility capable of withstanding intense weather conditions.
